Mudarbah based contract

Mudarabah is an Islamic finance partnership where one party provides capital (the rabb al-mal) and the other provides management and labor (the mudarib) to a business or project, sharing profits according to an agreed ratio. This Sharia-compliant model involves risk-sharing, as the capital provider bears financial losses unless due to the manager's negligence or misconduct, and the manager receives no salary, only a share of the profits.

Mudarib

The entrepreneur or manager who contributes their expertise, labor, and knowledge to manage the business, working independently to implement the project.

Profit and Loss Distribution

Profits are shared between the rabb al-mal and the mudarib based on a pre-agreed ratio, while losses are generally borne by the rabb al-mal, unless they result from the mudarib's negligence, misconduct, or violation of the agreement.

The capital provider, or the "silent partner," who invests the money and bears the financial risk of the project.
